3. The archeological crypt
Excavations at the balcony yielded medieval layers of the 9th/11th and 12th century of an oval Carolingian construction.
The exhibition of historical artifacts and archeological finds discovered during the excavation works, show the development of the castle during the middle ages. The different construction periods of the castle are illustrated by three clay-models and show-windows.
